Pre-Publish to Launch
Many of these services take the pain out of publishing a new release title…but they can also remove all the hassles from keeping your back-list looking fresh and current, with active, unbroken links and a properly structured book funnel that leads readers from book 1 in your series, to the finale.
Master File Preparation
Don’t have time to fuss with file preparation? Don’t have Microsoft Word (the industry standard)? Does working with styles mystify you? Does Smashwords’ Meat Grinder technical specifications (all 70 pages of them!) send shudders of dismay through you? Not sure what a Master File is? We can help with that.
Master File Preparation
You will receive a ‘clean’ Microsoft Word Master file that:
- Includes all your front and end matter formatted for publication
- Includes your story formatted for flawless eBook conversion
- Meets Smashwords’ specifications
- Can be used for uploading to book seller and distributor sites that accept Word files
- Will allow seamless eBook and print formatting.
$0.0018 cent per word (as calculated by MS Word from Master File).

You will be provided:
- ePub3 file ready for publication
- ePub ready for Amazon KDP publication
- Mobi file ready for publication
- A Street Team ARC edition with copyright page
- All formatting to ePub Validation standards.

Print layout
You will be provided:
- Publication-standard PDF file ready for upload

Print & eBook Preparation
You will be provided:

While we’re preparing your book for publication, we can also arrange the building of your cover and creating a series of promotional images and sizes of your cover.
Cover Coordination

- Send you the test cover for approval
- We’ll create a range of final cover formats and sizing, including**
- A range of ebook cover sizes and resolutions, suitable for use in printed materials, websites and ebooks.
- A range of mock-ups (3D images) featuring your cover, for use in promotion and marketing—all in a range of sizes and resolutions
- If you want a Print flat in PDF form ready for publication, we will arrange the resizing to match your final print interior files.
